How long does a flooring installation take?
Once we have taken measurements of your space and you have chosen your flooring, we usually book about two weeks ahead. While it varies depending on size and complexity, almost all of our installations take between 1 to 3 days. Our installers are precise and fast!

How much can I expect to pay for flooring?
Flooring, like any large purchase, scales in price quite drastically. We install plenty of smaller jobs that cost under $2,000. For an entire house, you can expect to spend at least 5 figures.

How can I save money on flooring?
Most of the time the installation and labour costs more than the flooring itself. Anytime you can save the installers time, you are going to save yourself money. removing your old flooring, moving furniture, and anything along those lines will make the installers job faster and easier!

How do I know what flooring I should get?
Some types of flooring are better suited for different rooms. Part of our free consultation process is measuring each room and helping you choose how you want to transform your space! We are flooring experts and are always excited to provide our insight!

How much extra flooring should I order?
We have completed thousands of jobs and pride ourselves on providing the right amount of flooring. You don’t want to have 100 square feet of extra flooring that you paid for sitting in a closet somewhere. We order product so that we have enough to complete the job, account for waste, and have a box or two left over for any future repairs or replacements. If you’re doing your own installation, depending on the type of flooring we will give you suggestion on how much additional flooring you should order.

Do I need to remove furniture before installation?
We would encourage you to remove your own furniture if you’re able. If you don’t have the helpers or the time to move your furniture, our installers are happy to move any heavy objects for an additional cost.

Can I install new floors over my old floor?
In many cases new flooring can be installed over your old sub-floor. When you book a measurement or consultation with us, this is a perfect question to ask! We will take a look at the space and lay out all of your options along with our recommendations.

Do I have to let my flooring acclimate to my house?
Yes! Letting flooring made from wood products (hardwood, laminate, WPC) is incredibly important. Your flooring needs to be in a humidity controlled environment. If the humidity of your home does not adhere to product requirements, your floors will warp or crack within months. This is so important that if your humidity is out of the recommended range, we will delay the installation until it is fixed.

Why is my new carpet shedding?
During the manufacturing process some of the fibers will shed off the carpet. This is completely normal and you can expect to see it with most long strand carpets. Don’t worry, It’s not cause for concern!
